Profile.

About us.

At Lost Weekend, we create beautiful and functional homes that enrich the lives of our clients.

Our Dublin-based interior design practice was founded by Emily Maher in 2006 and has since become renowned for our expertise in international furniture, textiles, and decorative lighting.

Lost Weekend’s unique relationships with producers and manufacturers, extensive resources and continual foraging for beautiful design play an integral role in developing each project.

Our philosophy.

Our philosophy centres around creating homes that truly work for each client to enhance daily life. We help our clients make informed decisions so we can create carefully considered, functional, and visually beautiful spaces that fit their lifestyle.

At Lost Weekend, we pride ourselves on being both artisans and technicians. We create homes that exude warmth and modernity and we have a deep comprehension of the psychology of space. We use this knowledge and our understanding of volume, texture, light and colour to create balanced, harmonious homes that are unique, timeless, and imbued with soul.

Our approach.

At Lost Weekend, we believe that a home should be a reflection of the people who occupy it. Our approach centres on working collaboratively with our clients to understand their unique preferences, aesthetic visions, and daily routines. We guide them to articulate their tastes while introducing them to our world of design through our broad depth of knowledge.

We carefully select unique and interesting furniture, lighting and textiles to complement each other resulting in environments that are both uplifting and practical.
