So the Salone at fiera Milano – Rho is vast and so many great brands there but  probably the best part of Milan design week is out and about in Brera and Tortona….

Flower truck in Brera. We were tempted to pick those juicy lemons!

Lee Broom’s mobile exhibition showcasing his new Op Art-inspired design ‘Optical’ spotted in the Brera Design District. The globes asymmetrical linear pattern changes at every angle.

The expanded Wall and Deco showroom in Milan had an amusing contraption and a geisha girl to entertain the browsers! A unique display that only complimented the fabulous large scale wall coverings.

In the Linteloo showroom in the Tortona Design District we lounged on the super comfy Hamptons sofa. This deep modular sofa can be made in a vast selection of fabrics some of which are demonstrated by the array of cushions on this model.

Try out the Hamptons sofa in Lost Weekend in the next few weeks.

This is a chocolate shop!

Love the tiles, the wallpaper, the beams Like something from a story book….and the overpowering aroma of chocolate was amazing.

No visit to Milan Design week is complete without a visit to the Boffi showroom in Brera.

Immaculate styling around  immaculate kitchens and bathrooms.

And last but by no means least is the Fritz Hansen showroom.

During Salone del Mobile Republic of Fritz Hansen launched Objects.

It’s the name of the new accessories line. It consists of twelve beautiful designs for your home designed by Danish and international designers, among them the design duo Studio Roso, Wednesday architecture and Jaime Hayon.
