Inside the Salone del Mobile Milan
Lost Weekend were at the Salone del Mobile in Milan last week, the biggest date on the world’s furniture calendar.
Here are our top inspirational picks from our favourite design companies showing at the exhibition centre.
(Check out our next blog for the events around the city…….)
Fabulous styling from E15. Classic combination of pure materials, marble, wood and natural wool fibres. We love the Enoki side table especially topped with green marble. And what a stylish use of colour.
Love the mint colour of the karnak side table and the contrast of the chrome habibi.
Sangiacomo stand was beautifully styled with Petite friture, Moooi and Flos lighting and CC taps rugs.
We’re longing for a calm bedroom with lushly planted courtyard like this.
Endless options of beds, wardrobes and living systems available to order.
First glimpse of the new dining/boardroom chair from Mark Krusin for Knoll.
The Knoll stand was echoing the Mies Van der Rohe pavilion in Barcelona with 100’s of tonnes of the most magnificent marble.
The 24 carat gold Platner and Bertoia furniture just pops against this rich green marble.
Keeping with the marble trend with this stylish table from Zanottta on a CC-tapis rug.
And no furniture show is complete without some flying chairs…….
…and flying fish – Magis design celebrating 40 years of creating great design furniture.
